Carolyn "CJ" Jean Williams

Carolyn Jean Williams, known to friends and family as “CJ,” died in the NSICU at UMMC on December 23, 2017, following a motor vehicle accident. CJ was raised by her maternal grandparents, Edwin and Neva Jean Davis of Pelahatchie. She attended East Rankin Academy and graduated from Pelahatchie High School, receiving a scholarship to Hinds Community College.

Carolyn was survived by her parents, Jill Davis Norman (Doug), Tony Williams; maternal grandfather Edwin M. Davis of Pelahatchie, uncle Don Davis (Julie) of Pelahatchie, Paul (Beverly) Davis of Meridian, aunt Norma Davis of Meridian, Wilma Davis of Morton and numerous cousins. She is also survived by her dear companion, Chavez Patrick of Forest. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Neva Jean Davis of Pelahatchie.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful doctors, nurses, social worker and chaplain of the NSICU. Funeral services will be held at Breeland Funeral Home of Canton, MS on January 13th at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
