Harry Dean Whitehead

Harry Dean Whitehead, 62 of Flora, Mississippi passed away at St. Dominic hospital on November 12,2017.  Harry was born on October 2,1955 in Madison, MS and is predeceased by his father, Merton Whitehead, Sr., mother, Evelyn Easterling Whitehead, brother Russell Allen Whitehead and son, Justin Taylor Whitehead.

Harry was a graduate of Tri-County-Academy and was a life-long resident of Flora, MS.  Mr. Whitehead was a member of Damascus Baptist Church, located on Hwy 22, East of Flora. 

Funeral services are held at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton, MS on Tuesday 14, 2017. The visitation will be from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm, with memorial services directly afterward at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Breeland Funeral Home.

Harry is survived by a brother (Merton Whitehead, Jr-Carthage,MS), sister (Lerisa Wienke (Columbus, MS), sister (Janice Muse-Vernon Muse- Raymond, MS), Children (Angela Coggins, Brad Whitehead , Nichole Whitehead, all of Columbus, MS and Jamey Dean of Flora.  Harry also leaves behind 4 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Bo Chaney, Jac Chaney, Jason Martin, Trey Thornton , Brad Whitehead and Vernon Muse.

Memorials  may be made and given to Damascus Baptist Church in Flora, MS.
