Lucy Garland Presley

Lucy Garland Presley, 94, died Monday, July 16, 2018.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am chapel service.  Burial will be in Quiet Ridge Cemetery in Pickens.

Mrs. Presley was a member of Madison United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the Lamplighters – Truth Seekers Sunday School Class and Senior Adult Ministries called VIP’s.  For 10 years, Mrs. Presley and her friend, Eva Lancaster, walked together in the Family Life Center of the church.  Until one year ago she would crochet prayer shawls to be given as gifts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Reddock (Bill) Presley, son Martin Earl (Bud) Presley, mother Juliette Ward, and father Jefferson Taylor Garland.

Survivors include: sons, Bill T. Presley and wife Susan of Madison and Bob Presley; sister, Eva Mansell of Canton; grandchildren, Taylor Presley, Devin Presley Terrell, Amanda Presley Larson, Matthew Ross Presley, Melissa Allison Presley, Sam Presley, David Presley, and Emily Jane Presley; and great grandchildren, Elizabeth Presley Larson, Stratton Terrell, Collin Terrell, Sofia Noelle Presley, and Michael Presley.
