Elaine or “Nanny” as most knew her, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and singing in church. She was a devout Christian and spirituality was a priority in her life
Throughout the years, she owned several businesses which included a flower shop where she enjoyed utilizing her creativity, an arcade, restaurant, and tire business.
Additionally, she was an author and poet. She received many awards in recognition of her works which included several poems and other published literary works. She earned herself a mention from radio commentator Paul Harvey for one of her pieces. The awards she received were globally recognized. she was loved by all of us and will be remembered for her generosity and the depths of her love.
She didn’t think or do things according to the “norm” and this was one aspect that made her special. She lives on through all of us – in the hearts and minds of those who were blessed to know her.
