Randy Lefate Parker

Randy Parker (age 65) of Canton, MS was born on Oct 12, 1952 in Sandhill, MS. He went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on February 23, 2018 with his family by his side. 

Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and pickin’ and grinnin’ on his guitar playing bluegrass music. He was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church where he operated the sound, kept the grounds, and served as a member of the board. He loved his church, church family, and his many friends. He loved his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. 

He was survived by his wife, Nancy Moudy Parker, of 46 years, daughter Stephanie Morales (Nathan) of Canton, and son Jonathan Parker (Stephanie) of Pleasanton, TX. He had 6 grandchildren: Caleb Morales, Emily Josey and husband James, Austin Parker, Ayden Parker, and Andrew Parker. He is also survived by 3 brothers (Jimmy Parker and Billy Parker - both of Canton, MS, and Rodney Parker of Lena, MS) and 2 sisters (Peggie Turner of Canton and Judy Gainey of Brandon). 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Irene Parker. 

Visitation will be Monday Feb 26 from 5-7 pm and the funeral will be Tuesday Feb 27 at 11:00 am at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 1529 Hwy 43; Canton, MS 39046. Funeral will be officiated by His pastor, Rev Donnie Grantham, and Rev Jerry Dillon.  Breeland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
