Rebecca Brantley Mood

Rebecca Brantley Mood, 71 of Ridgeland, MS went to be with the Lord on September 2nd, 2018 in Columbia, MS.  Rebecca was born September 18th, 1946 to William A. Brantley and

Robbie E. Brantley in Sunflower, MS.  She married Gary Dean Mood of Yazoo City June 5th, 1971.  Rebecca was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She worked for 25 years as the License Renewal Manager at Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Control in Gluckstadt, from which she retired.  Rebecca loved shopping with her family and friends, especially in her hometown, at the Canton Flea Market.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her father William A. Brantley, her mother Robbie E. Brantley, her husband Gary D. Mood and son in-law Dave Randall

Rebecca is survived by her brother William “Bill” Brantley (Patsy) of Pensacola, FL, her sister

Eleanor Dauenhauer (Chuck) of Pocahontas, MS, daughter Robbie Wilburn (Joseph Wilburn) of Cummings,GA , Lynn Randall of Columbia, MS , Sally May (John May) of Madison, MS, her granddaughters, Samantha Randall, Molly May and Kayla Wilburn and her grandsons, Brantley and Rhett May.

Visitation will be held at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton, MS Friday, September 7th from 11a.m. until 1p.m. with chapel service following. Graveside service will be held at the Canton City Cemetery following the chapel service.
