Robin Robertson Obituary

Robin Barnett Robertson passed from this life on November 9, 2018 at the age of 67.  Born May 22, 1951 in Batesville Arkansas, he was the son of Carol Barnett Robertson and the late William J. He was an accomplished photographer and videographer. He loved sailing and canoeing.

Early in their marriage, Robin and his wife Beverly enjoyed living in the country, at Stribling Lake near Madison Mississippi.  Robin could tell colorful stories about various work projects, such as the years when he was on the production crew at Mississippi Educational TV, where he worked on programs like Justin Wilson’s “Cookin’ Cajun” and “Mississippi Roads,” and the time he was Location Manager for the film “My Dog Skip.”

Robin was preceded in death by his father William J. Robertson.  He is survived by his wife Beverly Perkins Robertson and their daughter Anna Selene Robertson of Madison, Mississippi.  Robin is also survived by his mother, Carol Barnett Robertson of Batesville, Arkansas; brother William J. Robertson Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee; sister Catharine Robertson Harrington (husband Frank) of Aberdeen, Mississippi; and brother Randall Ball Robertson (wife Patricia) of Winter Park, Florida.
