Terry Glenn Rushing, 64, of Ridgeland, MS died on October 24, 2018 in his home, of natural causes. Born September 24, 1954 in Magee, MS, to Reverend Hal B. and Eugenia Rushing. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Harrell Gene and Charles Rushing. Survived by his three children Michelle Pittman (Jaime) of Youngstown, FL, Michael Rushing of New Orleans, LA, and Melissa Rushing of Columbus, MS; two sisters Wanda Stirewalt (Bruce) of Gluckstadt, MS and Phyllis Holland (Frank) of Natchez, MS; sister-n-law Glenda Rushing of Madison, MS; 7 grandchildren, Wesley, Felicity, Sara, Henry, Olive, Emma, and Fletcher; nieces and nephews.
Terry worked as a service consultant for over 20 years at Fowler Buick. He was an Air Force veteran. He loved all of his family and friends deeply. He had music running through his sweet Soul and loved to play the harmonica, a once single dad who came home from work to cook his children a square meal. He loved nature/being outdoors and always loved to find a good hiking stick.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Mayes Lake Park of Lefleur’s Bluff State Park on Sunday November 4th at 1:00PM.
