Tomie Pace (Sellers) Gibson

Tomie Pace Sellers Gibson, 91, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am graveside service at Canton Cemetery.

Mrs. Gibson was born December 21, 1927 in Canton, MS, she attended MS University for Women and graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Home Economics.

She was preceded in death by: her loving parents, Thomas Leon Pace and Mai Pace Faucette; husbands, Berten Milton Sellers and James Gibson; sisters, Dot Pace, Mai Faucette, and Minnie Lou Wells.

Survivors include: children, Virginia Sellers Sparks (Allen) of Brookhaven, Thomas Leon Sellers (Jill) of Canton, Sue Gibson Shaw (Brad) of NH, and Alan Gibson of NH; grandchildren, Bert Sparks (Meisha) of Tupelo, Leon Sparks (Jennifer) of Colorado, Michael Sparks (Lacey) of Texas, Laura Sellers Baldwin (Jacob) of Canton, Thomas Leon Sellers, Jr. of Washington D.C., Keith Shaw (Staci) of NH, and Sarah Shaw of NH; great-grandchildren, Emma Cate, Breanne, Pace, Sellers, Maddox, Slade, Emma James, Olivia, and Jocelyn.
