Angela Ellett

Angela Lorraine Ellett, age 69, died peacefully surrounded by her closest loved ones on May 28, 2022 at her home in Midway, Mississippi. 

Angela was born on January 1, 1953 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Mary Gladys Davis and Walter Leon Davis. She was best known for her 40+ year nursing career, where she left her personal impression on every patient she encountered as well as her coworkers. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Mary Gladys Davis and Walter Leon Davis as well as her brother, Bobby Davis.

Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 36 years, Robert Ellett; daughter, Rita Doby of Pelahatchie; son, George Doby (Amanda) of Brandon; son, David Doby of Yazoo City; daughter, Melissa Ellett of Ocean Springs; son, Michael Ellett (Amber) of Florence; daughter, Jessica Ellett (Chris) of Lafayette, LA; son, Jonathan Ellett (Haley) of Benton.

She will be missed by 18 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on June 1, 2022 at Midway Baptist Church from 1 p.m.- 2p.m. with graveside service following immediately after.
