Annie M. Hitsman

Annie M. Hitsman passed away September 18, 2024 in Jackson. 

She leaves two children, Jeffery Carl Roberts and John Russell Roberts; two stepchildren, Tina Strano and John Hitsman of Kansas; one grandchild, Christopher Clayton Roberts; two great grandchildren Emma and Scarlett Roberts; one sister, Elaine Forbush; and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by his parents, John W. Steen, and Annie B. Steen.

She enrolled at Belhaven University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in May 2002.

She worked for Hazclean Environmental Consultants in Jackson, MS and Birmingham, AL, and Argus Analytical as Vice President of Finance from 1990 to 2019. 

A visitation will be held Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton, MS. A funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM. at Breeland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery.
