Artis “Otis” Newton Rayburn, 75 passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 10:00 am until the 12:00 pm chapel service. Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.
Mr. Rayburn was a U S Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Parkway Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by: sons, Walton Rayburn, Bradley Beck, and Johnathan Beck; and brothers, Johnny, Franklin, Larry, and Tommy Rayburn.
Survivors include: wife Diane Rayburn of Canton; sons, Otis Newton Rayburn of Camden and Nathaniel Poat of Hattiesburg; step-sons, Christopher Beck (Stacey) of Pittsfield, IL and Kelly Johnson (Margaret) of Camden; step-daughters, Minnie Pope (John) of Pearl, IL, Michelle Wallace (Brendon) of Evansville, IL, and Dawn Edwards of Texas; brothers, Gerald Rayburn (Mary Lois) of Germantown, TN and Harry Rayburn (Josephine) of Tupelo; 4 grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
