Betty Jo (Pace) Ellis

Betty Jo Ellis, 72 passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.  Ms. Ellis was born on July 8, 1948 in Carson, Mississippi.  She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She loved and treasured being able to spend time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a fan of the Game of Thrones Series and the Investigative Discovery Channel, and enjoyed playing bingo and computer games.  Ms. Ellis was an animal lover and had many cherished pets.  She was strong in her Christian faith and regularly watched church programs on TV.

Ms. Ellis is survived by her daughter, Sondra Johnson (and her husband Kevin) of Roanoke, Texas, and her son Michael Smith (and his wife Katey) of Marietta, Georgia.  Betty is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Jessica Smith and Breylan Smith of Marietta, Georgia; brother, John Pace; and sister, Mary Ann Londot.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alonzo Pace and Gayetta Speights.

Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the 3:00 pm Celebration of Life Service.
