Billy Martin Halbert, Jr.

Billy Martin Halbert, Jr.,64, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September, 25, 2021.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 10:00 am until the 11:30 am chapel service.  Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.

A native of Canton, Bill was a 1975 graduate of Canton Academy where he played football as well as other sports.  He was an avid Alabama fan and he loved horses.  He was a true cowboy, everyone recognized him with his black cowboy hat.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Martin Halbert, Sr.

Survivors include: daughter, Ashley Middleton (Andy) of Madison; son, Justin Halbert of Canton; mother, Carol Ann Halbert of Canton; brother, Mark Halbert (Tracy) of Madison; his grandchildren who called him Papa Bill, Ethan, Taylor, and Alex Middleton and Wyatt and Knox Halbert; and niece, Logan Halbert.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Canton.
