Bobby Isonhood, 82 of Canton, Mississippi passed away at his home June 8.
Bobby was born in Benton, Mississippi February 9, 1943 and later in his teens made Canton his home. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather. He lived a life rooted in love, family and strength.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Isonhood and mother Aileen May Isonhood, two brothers, Don and Jerry Isonhood.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Isonhood: his son, Robbie Isonhood and one grandson, Matthew Isonhood of Denver, Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews
Bobby was described by his son, Robbie as a “Man’s Man” from the start of his life on a dairy farm, he was loyal and grounded with a dedicated work ethic. He found joy in flying his Cessna 182. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, working with his hands as a wood turner, and being present for his family through every chapter of their lives.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10th from 5:00-6:30 in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church in Canton with service immediately following in the Sanctuary.
