Callie Strowd Obituary

Callie Elizabeth Skinner Strowd, 91, died Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Graveside services will be 10:00 am on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Brister Cemetery in Holmes County.

A native of Lexington, Elizabeth lived in Jackson where she was a longtime member of Oak Forest Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and loved visiting with her neighbors and family.

She was preceded in death by: husband, John Earl “Jack” Strowd; children, Donna Simmons and John Earl “Buddy” Strowd, Jr.; brothers, Harold, Jimmy, and Louis; and sisters, Marie and Vivian.

Survivors include: brothers, Hugh and David; grandchildren, Suzanne, Brad, and Elizabeth; and great grandson, Trevor.
