Charles Edward Cauthen

Charles Edward Cauthen, 86 died Wednesday, February 15, 2023.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home from 5 – 7 pm on Friday, February 17, 2023.  Funeral services will be at First United Methodist Church Ridgeland at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023.  Burial will be in Jessamine Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Trey Davis, Zach White, Chris Jayroe, Matt Morgan, Brian Barlow, and Chris Todd.

A native of Camden, Mr. Cauthen lived in Ridgeland for much of his life.  He was retired Head of Quality Control for Hood Furniture. Mr. Cauthen was also a retired veteran of the Army National Guard.

Survivors include: wife of 66 years, Mae Perkins Cauthen; son, Charles E. Cauthen, Jr. (Kathryn) of Tampa, FL; daughters, Nancy Treadwell (Rory) of Madison and Lisa Dearman (Ronnie) of Ridgeland; grandchildren, Sean Cauthen, Peyton Cauthen, Crystal Barlow, Cassie Morgan, Courtney White, Jennifer Davis, and Keeton Treadwell; and great-grandchildren, Jordyn Barlow, Beckett Barlow, Silas Morgan, Harper Grace Morgan, Madelyn Morgan, Brees Davis, Rorie Jane Davis, and Max White.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Gilda, Delores, Jennifer, and Helen for their care of Charles over the years.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Ridgeland.
