Emily Fay (Blackwell) Tindall

Emily Blackwell Tindall known to most as Fay joined The Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2020.  Fay grew up in Bogalusa, LA, she spent her adult years in Jackson, MS and El Monte, CA.  Fay returned to Bogalusa in 1997 where she lived for 20 years at Westminister Woods Senior Apartments.  Fay worked in grocery until her retirement in the late 1990’s.  She spent her retirement working in her flower bed and helping her neighbors.  She also served as a caregiver for many of her loved ones before they left this Earth.  If you knew Fay, you knew she loved The Lord, she shared the Gospel with everyone she met.

Emily Fay Tindall was preceded in death by: her parents, Edmund and Ruby Blackwell; siblings, Wayne Blackwell, Amos Blackwell, Edna Mae Blackwell Mohn, Ray Blackwell, Edward Blackwell, and Edward Blackwell (Audrey); husband, Wayne Billy Tindall; daughter, Janice Tindall Chapman (Walter J. Chapman, Jr. “Jack”).

Fay is survived by her granddaughter, Janice F. “Jana” Chapman of Pearl, MS and a number of nieces and nephews.
