Evangeline worked as an LPN and really enjoyed her work. Her personality was bright, and she was able to bring a smile to those that were not well. She worked for many years within a private practice as well as many hospitals between St. Louis, East St. Louis and Pulaski, Illinois.
Evangeline was a very kind-hearted person who was strong, a hard-worker and a good Samaritan. She was always giving toward her family and her community. Being Baptist, she contributed much time to the Lord she served and spread the good word to those who wanted to listen.
Evangeline gave much dedicated time to serving her community by volunteering in prison ministry Kairos, going to nursing homes and was involved in many church activities.
Evangeline’s personality was grand, and she was a woman who would not go unnoticed. She was that one person who believed that all people should be “treated with dignity, respect and look the part.”
