Harold Perry Obituary

Harold C. “Pete” Perry, 87, passed away on July 4, 2024. He was born on March 26, 1937 and spent most of his life in Madison County until moving to Florence about 30 years ago.

He was the founder and operator of Mid-South Truck Parts which was later called Canton Truck Parts where he worked until his death.

He was a platoon sergeant in the tank division of the Army National Guard for ten years.

Harold Perry was preceded in death by his parents, Ellie P. Perry and Nettie Mae Harmon Perry and brother, Ed Perry. He is survived by his son, Ronnie H. Perry; daughter, Pam Searcy; sister, Becky Bynum; grandchildren, Nicole Morgan, Wendall Perry, Jessica Perry, Matthew Whitehead, Austin Crow, and Logan Searcy; great grandchildren, Charlie Crow and Tanner Perry.

Visitation will be held at Breeland Funeral Home on July 7, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM in the chapel. Graveside services will be held at Sharon Methodist Cemetery after the funeral service.
