Obituary
Harry Stewart Baldwin, Jr., 81, died Sunday, August 27, 2023, at his home in Canton, MS.
Harry was born April 25, 1942, in Winona, MS and his family moved to Canton where he grew up.
A graduate of Canton High School and Auburn University, he worked as a graphic artist in the area before settling in Atlanta. He continued his career at McCann-Errickson where he traveled extensively creating ads for corporate clients. Upon retirement, he returned to Canton.
Harry served on the Historical Preservation Commission and Architectural Review Board for several years and was active in historical preservation of the City of Canton.
Harry is survived by his sisters, Sally Baldwin, Sara Albritton (Paul) and his brother, Dick Baldwin (Wanda), all of Canton. He is predeceased by his parents, Harry and Betty Baldwin, and his brother, Mike Baldwin.
Visitation is Wednesday, September 13, 4:00-6:00 pm at Breeland Funeral Home, Canton. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
