Herbert Lee Reynolds

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Herbert Lee Reynolds on May 1st, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born and raised in Canton, MS.  Herbert was kindhearted and enjoyed the simple and uncomplicated things in life, such as, his favorite electronics that he could be found tinkering with.

Survived by sister Esther Ackermann(Norman Ackermann Sr.) and many nieces, nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: father John E Reynold, mother Esther Via McCraney Reynolds, brothers James Reynolds, William(Bill) Reynolds, John E Reynolds Jr, sisters Lucy Gates(Brown Gates), Annie Murphy, Gladys Whitaker(George Whitaker Sr.).

Herbert was a 21-year resident at Jaquith Nursing home. He will be truly missed by fellow co-residents and loving staff, including long-time caregivers Dr. William Coughlin, Ms. June McCafferty and Ms. Virginia.

Visitation will be held 10am-11am Thursday May 5th, 2022, at Breelands Funeral Home in Canton, MS immediately followed by graveside service at Canton Cemetery. A future memorial service will be held at Jaquith Nursing Home details tba.
