Jo Ruth Lea

Jo Ruth Lea, 75 passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm chapel service.  Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.

A native of Natchez, Mrs. Lea lived in Springfield, MO before moving to Canton in 2006. 

 She was preceded in death by: father, Joseph Edgar Hammett; mother, D’Lois Bond Hammett; and granddaughter, Abbie O’Cain.

 Survivors include: son, Bond  Henry (Joseanne) of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Pam O’Cain (Marc) of Canton; brother, John Berret, Jr.; sisters, Betty Rhodes and Patricia Berret; grandchildren, Meighan Tosten (Larry), Hanna Smith (Connor), Cameron Henry, Bailey Irby (Cole), Jordan Henry, John Marc O’Cain, and Maggie Claire Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Maggie Ryan Smith, Miller Smith, Larry Tosten, Lincoln Tosten, Dorothy Tosten, and Sullivan Tosten.
