Joe Allen Davis Sr.

Joe Allen Davis, Sr., 76 of Canton, MS, passed away peacefully October 23, 2019 surrounded by his family. 

Joe was born in December, 1942.  He graduated from the University of TN and practiced as a Registered Pharmacist for over 60 years. Joe was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canton, MS.  He was known for his profound intelligence, quick wit, love of animals, compassionate and giving spirit, and his spot-on Sling-Blade impression. 

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Davis, mother Mary Davis, and step-mother, Fidella Davis.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Becky; three children, Tina Brown, of Brandon, MS, Joe Davis, of Austin, TX, and Teresa Thomann and husband Danny of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren; and many loving relatives. 

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
