John Ernest Hilton McCubbins

John Ernest McCubbins passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Manhattan Nursing Home.

Hilton was born October 29, 1939 to Ernest and Dorothy McCubbins in Oklahoma City. He moved to Jackson as a child and attended St. Mary’s Elementary and St. Joseph High School in Jackson. 

Hilton was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Schuler McCubbins, and his nephew Michael McCubbins.

He is survived by his sister, Sylvia Stocker (Jim); brother, Marty McCubbins (Diane); sister-in-law, Cay; and many nieces and nephews.
