Johnny Mitchel Thomas of Ridgeland, Mississippi was born December 24, 1963. He was greeted by Jesus and his beloved dog, Bella, on August 8 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was an avid lover of the outdoors, cooking on his grill, firearms and his family.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Billy Charles Sr. and both maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gail Thomas; three daughters, Nicki (Kevin) Roberts , Brooke (Seth) Bloomsburg, and Maci (Matt) Windom; three grandchildren, Ada Janie and Amos Bloomsburg, and Bennett Windom. He is also survived by his mother Jeanette Thomas; two brothers, Billy Charles Thomas Jr. and Don (Leslie) Thomas; and one sister Angie Thomas, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Breeland Funeral Home chapel Monday, August 12 at three o'clock until the four o'clock memorial service.
