Joseph Martin Cauthen, Jr.

Joseph Martin Cauthen, Jr., 86 passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm chapel service.  Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.

 Mr. Cauthen was a retired engineer for NASA.  He was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church.

 He was preceded in death by: first wife, Faye Simpson Cauthen; second wife, Jewel Albert Cauthen; and grandson, Dalin Lomax Cauthen.

 Survivors include: sons, Joseph “Marty” Cauthen, III (Jeannine) of New Concord, KY, Philip Cauthen (Carol) of Huntsville, AL, and Tim Cauthen of Camden; daughters, Cheryl Hopper of Guntersville, AL and Nancy Thompson (Nick) of Madison; brother, Robert H. Cauthen of Madison; and grandchildren, Joseph Cauthen, Bobby Hopper, Will Hopper, Nicholas Thompson, Katie Cauthen, and Trevor Cauthen.
