Joyce Burnette Obituary

Joyce Norris Burnette,86, passed away at Baptist Yazoo Hospital in Yazoo City on Thursday, May 12, 2022.

Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church in Yazoo City and as she always said "I love the Lord and I know he loves me".

She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Joe) Burnette, her parents, Leon and Edna Winter Norris, her sister, Kathleen Waldrop and niece, Gina Waldrop.

Survived by her nieces, Gail Harris and Pam Morris, nephew, Kenny Waldrop and a host of great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

A service was held at First Baptist Church in Yazoo City on Sunday, May 15th.
