Leaving this world behind her on June 3, 2022, Lindsey Allen Tullos was born an only child to Miles and Cindy Tullos on December 12, 1992. She was full of energy and character that kept them on their toes from day one.
She was unique and beautiful. A gypsy soul. She beat to her own drum and faced a lot of heartaches in her short life. And found herself a slave to a demon. Yes, I will say it because it needs to be said… Addiction. She found love in some wrong places and life in some amazing places.
Those amazing places her family will focus upon. She loved the mountains. She found her peace there. She loved mountain/folk music. She even sung and danced with her children to that music and would entertain anyone within their midst. Evie and Miles adored their mama. She always brought smiles to their faces and giddiness in their excitement of being with their mama. No one would ever doubt their bond. They loved her so much. And they were her life. She wanted more than anything to be the mama they needed. And I’m going to say this, she was. I saw it. They saw and felt it. It Just wasn’t long enough.
She was preceded in death by her precious grandparents, Frank and Pat Allen of Canton, MS and Miles J Tullos, Sr. of Pelahatchie, MS. Who adored her always.
She is survived by her children, Evie (6) and Miles (3); parents, Cindy Tullos of Gluckstadt, MS and her father Miles Tullos, Jr of Pelahatchie, MS her precious grandmother, Sue Tullos, whom she loved so very much of Pelahatchie, MS. Aunt Anne Cassell Allen Watkins (Thad) of Hoover, AL; Aunt Samantha Crites (Ken) of Centerville, TN, Uncle Doug Tullos (Sara) of Pelahatchie, MS and Aunt Tanya Bosarge (Mike) of Fairhope, AL. Numerous cousins who looked up to their oldest cousin with love, as she did them.
A memorial service will be held to honor the person she was to us on Friday, June 10, at 2 PM., at Breeland Funeral Home, in Canton, MS with visitation at 1 PM at the same location.
The family ask that any Memorials to be made to Almost Home Ministries of Charleston, WV. The place she came truly alive with Christ.
