Mary W. Buckley

Mary Wynette Buckley, 85 passed away December 14, 2024 at Madison County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Buckley was of the Church of God faith.  She loved making quilts and gardening.

She was preceded in death by: husband, James William Buckley; daughter, Mary Ann Buckley; sons, Rick L. York, Sr. and James H. York, Sr.; and siblings: Jennette Cardwell, Ruth Andrews, William M. Cardwell, Jr., Lee Higginbottom, and David Higginbottom.

Survivors include: son, Ernest Chambers (Kim) of Canton; daughter, Kathy Sanders (Charles) of Greenwood; sister, Marie “Kitty” Logan (Charles) of Vardaman; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will by at Elzy Cemetery in Vardaman, MS at a date to be determined.
