Mary Frances Hutchins, 89, died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at The Nichols Center in Madison. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
A native of Sanford, Florida, Mrs. Hutchins was a classically trained artist. She served as a spotter during World War II. She was a member of The Junior League of Orlando, FL, Society of Mayflower Decedents, League of Women Voters, and The Rosalind Club. She was a lifelong and devote Episcopalian.
Mrs. Hutchins loved fashion, art, reading, gardening, and playing chess.
Survivors include: daughter, Mary Alexandra Gowdy and husband Tebo of Madison, MS; son, Victor William Hutchins of Fernandina Beach, FL; grandchildren, Mary Chappell Oates and husband Michael, Theodore Robert Allen Gowdy, and Charles Bradley William Gowdy; great granddaughter, Ava Claire Oates; and her beloved Maltese, Michele.
