Mary Jean Odom

Mary J. Odom, 85, while surrounded by family and friends went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2020.  Born, April 17, 1935, she married the love of her life, Edward Odom on October 7, 1955.  They had been married for 64 years, seven months and seven days.

 Mrs. Odom was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Jenkins Martin and Marcus Martin; sister, Julia Howard; brothers, George Martin and James Martin; and granddaughter, Liane Kernop.

 Survivors include: husband, Edward Odom; daughters, Margie Odom and Donna Kernop (David); brothers, Bill Martin (Margaret) and Marcus Jr. Martin (Esther); and grandson, Don Kernop.

 Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 5 – 7 pm.  Visitation will also be from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Good Hope Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
