Richard E. Winans

Richard E, Winans, 75, passed away on September 28, 2024.  Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Breeland Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel at 10 am on Thursday, October 3, 2024.  Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.

A native of McCloud, OK Richard lived in Canton before moving to Vicksburg.  He was a U S Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a retired road manager for Warren County.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Winans; brother, Jody Winans; father, Hugh Neal Winans; and mother, Wanda Batt.

Survivors include: sons, Billy Winans and Michael Winans; brother Skip Winans; sister, Patty Winans; and 8 grandchildren.
