Robert Juston Ellett

Robert Juston Ellett passed away November 7, 2023. He was born July 28, 1953 in Charleston, Mississippi to Robert “Bob” Herron Ellett and Clara Dale Wadford Dillard.

Robert worked in the construction industry and enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing and playing cards with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Ellett; mother, Clara Dillard; father, Robert Ellett; son, Michael Ellett; brother, Ed Ellett; sisters, Sharon Stevens, Ester Martin and Clara McNamara.

Robert is survived by his three children, Jessica Ellett (Chris) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Johnathan Ellett (Haley) of Benton, Mississippi, and Melissa Ellett (Jeff) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; three stepchildren, George Doby (Amanda) of Brandon, Mississippi; David Doby of Yazoo City, Mississippi, and Rita Wright of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; his two brothers, James Randy Ellett of Jackson, Mississippi and Steve Ellett of Cecil, Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many grandchildren all of which he found contentment and amusement in picking on and giving them a hard time every chance he got.

Services will be held Saturday November 11, 2023 at Midway Baptist Church in Benton, Mississippi. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service. Graveside service will immediately follow at the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. A reception will be hosted at Robert and Angela Ellett’s home.
