Robert Julius Schumaker, Sr.

Robert “Rob” Julius Schumaker, Sr., 51, died Friday, November 4, 2022 at his home in Canton, Mississippi. He was born September 11, 1971 in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late Julius and Margaret Bornyak Schumaker. Preceding Rob in his death was his first wife, Melissa Wagner Schumaker. His memory survives with his second wife, Annie Cogay Schumaker, his four sons: Robert, Scott, Daniel, and Aaron, and granddaughter Alexandria. Rob was a hardworking and dedicated father. Born in Ohio, he lived a large part of his life in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he raised his first three sons. As he progressed in his career, he moved to Virginia and then to Mississippi with his wife, Annie, and youngest son, Aaron. Rob loved to relax by fishing, hunting, golfing, and watching football. Friends and family may visit at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton, MS on Monday 5-7 p.m., where services will also be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. As per his wishes, Rob will be interred at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, Ohio.
