Sarah Alice (McCormick) Tyner

Sarah Alice McCormick Tyner, 86, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 PM chapel service.  Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.

Sarah was an active member of the Home Extension Club and Soil Conservation Auxiliary for many years.  She enjoyed farm life where she loved gardening and sewing for her family.  She was a very talented artist and loved crafts.  She also loved to cook.  Most of all Sarah loved all of her family and enjoyed the time she spent with them.  She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Canton.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Mattie Lois Harbour and Andrew Boyd McCormick; and brothers, Harold and Donald McCormick.

Survivors include: husband Harold Ray Tyner; children, Caron Weisenberger (Joe), Boyd Ray Tyner (Shelly), Sarah Lee Stewart (Andy), and Fred Mack Tyner; grandchildren, Daniel Tyner (Emily), Blake Tyner (Beth), Morgan Tyner, Kendall Spell (Kelly), April Ryan (Dustin), Summer Stewart, and Savannah Stewart; and 11 great grandchildren.
