Susan Kay Fox Whitehead

 Susan Kay Fox Whitehead, 61, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 am on Monday.  Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery, Flora, MS.

Susan was a retired Vice President for N-R-G Control Company.  She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church.

Susan was a devoted wife and mother.  She loved the beauty of God’s earth and was devoted in her Christian faith.  She was very giving to all.

She was preceded in death by; father, Elmer Clarence Fox, Jr.; mother, Vernie Mae Wallace Fox; brother, Elmer C. Fox, III; brother-in-law, James E. Whitehead; and father-in-law, Robert J. Whitehead.

Survivors include: husband, Benny Whitehead of Flora; daughter, Amy Hill of Benton; son, Bud Whitehead (Heather) of Ardmore, OK; grandson, Cody Woodham of Benton; sisters, Karen Williams of Union, Marilyn Chamblee of Carthage, and Sheila McElroy (Herbert) of Pearl; brother in-law, Wayne Whitehead (Judy) of Flora; sisters in-law; Bonnie Fullilove of Flora, Robbin Beard of Little Yazoo, and Dianne Moore of Canton; mother-in-law, Martha Whitehead of Canton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
