Sybil Lynch

     Sybil Lynch, born on January 19, 1922, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the age of 99 years.  She was a life-long resident of Madison County, Mississippi.

     Sybil began her work career working for Wallace Harrison in the oil industry.  Throughout the course of her career, she worked for various other independent oil companies, and returned to work for Mr. Harrison until his death.  She retired from Lloyd & Thompson Independent Oil Company.  

     Sybil was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Palmer Lynch and Pency (Hickman) Lynch; Sisters, Bessie Hutton, Thelma Savino and Cora Abernathy; Brothers, Leo Lynch, James Lynch and William Riley (Bill) Lynch; Nephews, Bob Hutton, Dewitt Hutton; and Niece, Kathy Lynch Hill. 

     She is survived by her nieces, Betty Hutton McWilliams, Karen Lynch Tripp, Janette Lynch Turner, Kayla Beth Lynch Pitzrick, and Jan Lynch Ainsworth; nephews, Bill Hutton, Ronnie Lynch, Marty Campise, Curtis Lynch, Jimmy Lynch, Richard Lynch and Mark Lynch; as well as a host of great-nieces and nephews.  

     Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton, Mississippi, with a graveside service, to follow at 1:00 p.m., at the Canton Cemetery.
