Sylvia Graves

Sylvia Graves, 90, passed away on October 11, 2024. Daughter of Wayne and Cammie Ray, she was born in Farmhaven, Mississippi.

Sylvia worked as a secretary for St. Dominic Hospital. She was a member of Farmhaven Baptist Church.

Sylvia was married to Thomas Boyd Graves Sr. for fifty years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son Tommy Graves (Tracy), and her daughter Cammie Swales (Jonathan), four grandchildren Wayne Graves (Anna), Ben Graves (Abby), Heather Stubbs (Jacob), Grace Graves, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Boyd Graves Sr.; her parents Wayne and Cammie Williams Ray; sisters Etta Steen and Margie Arthur.

Visitation will be held Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 9:00 Am – 10:00 AM. A graveside service at Raytown Cemetery will be held following the visitation. Interment will be in the Raytown Cemetery.
