Vera Lee Myers

Vera Lee Myers, 91, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  Visitation will be at Breeland Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the 2:00 pm chapel service.  Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.

Ms. Myers was born in Scott County on March 4, 1929, she lived in Canton, MS for most of her life before moving to Ridgeland 10 years ago.  She worked as an inspector for the USDA for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Myers and sons, James Myers and Billy Myers.

Survivors include: children, Jimmy Myers (Cathy), Diane Myers, and Gene “Poe” Myers (Ann); 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
