William Charles Hatten

William Charles Hatten, 92, of Madison, Mississippi, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 6, 2025.   He is survived by a daughter, Rochelle Hatten Massey (Aaron) and three beautiful granddaughters, Erin Nichole South (Tommy), Kristen Renee’ Massey, and Kayla Elise Massey.  He was also blessed by three great grandchildren, Cotton, Hayes and Natalie South.  Mr. Hatten is also survived by his brothers, Fred Lamar Hatten and Edward Earl Hatten; and sister, Patsy Lanmon (Marvin).

Mr. Hatten was a veteran of the Korean War and, after returning, he worked for the railroad for 32 years before retiring.  He also served in the Air Force Guard, 72nd.

He was a dedicated father and friend, a man who believed in hard work and living simple.  He was looking forward to seeing Jesus one fine day and now his joy is complete.

Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 11:30 to 12:30, followed by entombment.
