Charles Thomas Heath

Charles Thomas Heath, 78 of Canton, MS passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in D’Iberville. He was born in Canton MS to Ralph and Grace Heath. He married his high school sweetheart, JoAnn Sutherland, in December 1960. Charlie retired in 2004 after an enjoyable and successful career with Key Construction. He enjoyed life with his family while building many cherished memories along the way: dancing with his lovely wife, spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, telling stories, and keeping them entertained. He also had an active church life and liked getting to know everyone he could through conversation, or a simple hello and sharing the hope he had in Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 43 years, JoAnn Heath. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Bristol of Biloxi (husband, Dr. Jerry Bristol) and Susan Jenkins of Crestview, FL (husband, Randall Jenkins), four grandchildren; Lindsey Bristol, Erin Alford (husband Connor Alford), Forrest Jenkins (wife, Audra), and Elise Brassell (husband, Tommy) and one great grandson, Kaid Jenkins. Visitation is from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Breeland Funeral Home, 3304 S. Liberty St Canton, MS on Monday, January 15. At the conclusion of visitation, there will be a grave side service at Concord Presbyterian Church cemetery.
